First off I'd like to apologize for not getting this posted sooner, got tied up with "Mom stuff" last week & trying to catch up.
We had a great weekend of shooting at Sac Valley where we held the 2nd Annual Henry Pinkney Memorial Unlimited Challenge.
This is primarily a Rail gun match but we have Bag gunners who also join us to honor the memory of our friend Henry, whom we lost way to soon a couple of years ago. We shoot 10 groups at 100 yds on Saturday followed by 10 groups at 200 on Sunday.
Saturday started off with the 10 shooters (6 rail 4 bag) who showed greeted by a somewhat wet morning. A front coming through brought a mild drizzle with the occasional shower keeping things interesting.
In the 100 yd UNL class Michael Taner shot a very nice .2415 agg, just edging out Dan Lutke who took 2nd with a .2443, Bryn Borras finishing 3rd with a .2683. 100 yd Bag gun was taken by new BR shooter Erik Nana steering a borrowed rifle to a nice .2956 10 card agg, Roy Luchini 2nd at.3288 with Arnold Moos 3rd at .4630. We moved the frames to 200 yards to get ready for the Sunday stage.
Sunday was a little drier, but the usual Ione Triangle winds were playing havoc with trying to shoot small. Bryn managed to avoid any big mistakes and threw down a really nice .2285 agg to take UNL at 200, Steve Epstein 2nd at .2551 just edging out Greg who took 3rd with a .2580. 200 yd Bag gun was won by Ron Pepper with a .2859 agg, Erik 2nd with a .3602, Roy 3rd at .4047.
The UNL Grand was won by Bryn Borras with a .2484, Dan Lutke 2nd at .2545, Steve Epstein 3rd at .2640.
The Bag Grand was won by Erik Naka at .3279, Roy Luchini 2nd at .3668, Arnold Moos 3rd at .4758.
Really appreciate everyone showing up to help honor Henry's memory, he was a dedicated shooter who never took himself to seriously, and always had a good time enjoying his friends at the matches. He was one of my best friends and I miss him a lot.

Once again, my files are to large for this website.
Works just fine on the other one. Guess you'll have to go over there to see the results.
The picture of Henry is him holding the "loot" the year he won the 200/300 NBRSA LR Championship.
