This isn't firearms related but maybe site related. Every time I click on a post I get a popup that says Lexplore, under it is this it says, This program has preformed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists contact the program vendor. When I close it out everything disappears. I don't have this problem with any other sites. I sure like this site for the information here. Could this be a problem with me or what. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Illegal Operation

I am in no way a computer geek, however this was one of the problems I was having on my old Gateway. I was told it was spy-ware. I could not get rid of it because I had no way to reload my windows 98. Do you have a go back function in your operating system?

Get spy hunter and it will remove all spyware,i had a big problem and my anti-virus wouldn't kill it but spyhunter did.
 
No virus or spyware in Macs

For those who do not know. To avoid the virus and spyware problems of computers get a Macintosh for your next computer. Macs are not plagued and are not as susceptible to these as microsoft run computers. I am not affiliated with Apple computers but I have used them since 1983 with minimal problems in my home and work.
 
A few cleanup tools:

At the bottom edge, analyze, then clean
Right side move to 2nd buttom from top, then bottom analyze then repair. yes backup changes to registry. run this one 3 times to get a clean report.

Install
Get all updates
Immunize in left column, immunize on top bar
Check for and fix problems

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ is a free online virus scanner, it will run for serveral hours so do it overnight and after you have run the first two tools. Please turn off any power savings settings such as hybernate or sleep modes during the scan.

if the problem remains, then we can run some stronger tools, just let me know if it's not dead after you complete the above steps.
