Help on trigger

I have a Winchester M69, which all know is an early, entry-level target rifle. This rifle has turned out to be surprisingly accurate but has one fault, the trigge pull. It sort of bumps, skips, slides along until at last it fires. Can these triggers be repaired? And, secondly, if so, the name an e-mail of any gunmith who can do the work well.
