Help locating bolts

A good friend of mine lives in Norway and asked me to help him locate these bolts. I do not hunt nor own a gun so I am at a loss. He is using American equipment which is why he asked for my help... This was his email to me..
Can anyone help point me in the right direction in finding these for him...

Listen, I'm experiencing some trouble with one of my riflescopes. The scope is a Tasco Target Varmint 2.5-10X42, and the precision adjustment towers/turrets. I have tried and tried and tried to get in touch with Tasco USA, but no luck. The problem is that there are three headless socket set screws to tighten the turrets in the zero position, after adjusting the clicks. It's an American product, and Bushnell has taken over the Tasco company (that's what I've heard). We work with the metric system, you go by inches, so you probably see the problem I'm facing.
I need to get a hold of these screws, hunting season is right around the corner. See picture below, the screw looks exactly like the one in the bottom right corner. It's diameter is a little over 2mm, and in length it's a little over 4mm. I have found the right lengths on the Internet, but the measurements used regarding diameter is my problem. Could you convert it for me? Or even better, contact the Tasco company and have them ship it to m, or contact me by email?

So, where's the photo?
EDIT, thinking wrong size.
These are probably a 2-56, 3-48 or something like that with a .050 hex key head if I'm thinking of the right ones. MSC or McMaster Carr will have them by the 100 box.

Tell him to put a machinist rule beside the screws and take another photo. Then post it here. Same for the socket head. OD measurements would be nice. (something more accurate than about 2mm)

A #2 set screw will have a .035" hex key hole and a #3 will use a .050 key. The next size up at #4 would be a bit large I think but they would also use a .050" key.

We need closer measurements to make a guess.

FYI, most of these are around $10US/100 pack.

If some small hex wrenches are all that he needs I'll send him some if he will just give me his address. Over the years I've managed to accumulate several of almost every size.

He's looking for the screws Mickey. IIRC, the Tasco screws were slightly larger than the ones Burris uses, and the same size as Leupold.

2mm is around .090 so that's either a #2 or #3 screw. Most likely then 56 or 48 thread.

If that's a Tasco scope I'll bet they are not inch series screws at all.

I'm wondering if your friend might be better off to find some tiny screws locally, then buy an appropriate tap and cut new threads for the screws. A cheap tap should cost no more than $5 USD. It would certainly save him a lot of running around.

That's what I would do.

Oh. That's what happens when you old.........but it ain't the only thing.

i tried using sae hex wrenchs in those screws

the only wrench that would work was the one i got with the scope
very small.

So I was a little concerned that those turrets would turn by accident, and wondered why there wasn't a provision to lock them... Oh, those little screws! Look in the box, there's a little wrench. Thanks Guys!
