Help identifying the scope mounts

Snagglepuss,

To the best of my memory, these are EAW 'SwenkMontage', swingmounts, that were (are still?) available in Europe. They are high quality mounts that were guaranteed to return to zero when re-installed on the rifle.

That's what I thought but I emailed the pictures to eaw and they said they were definitely not there mounts so I have been scouring the Web with no luck anyone else have any ideas? Thanks Darren

The front mount is a twist in the rear mount has a spring loaded lever that when the scope is swung it locks on the dovetail mount

Snagglepuss,

EAW was not the only manufacturer that put out swing mounts; Suhler, Blaser and others (maybe even Mauser) that I can't recall right now did too. It was the type to use in Europe.

Thank you Phil I've searched all of those brands and can't find any that look close. They look the closest to the eaw just hoping someone has seen the same mounts before. I bought them on a zeiss 1.5-6x42 diavari.

I had an EAW mount with 26 mm rings on a Sauer Model 200 that I purchased in RSA. The rear mount had an open side
where the rear ring locked into it. It was very sturdy and worked well with almost no adjustment necessary to get right
back to zero. I saw several other mounts similar to the EAW, all made in Europe, that were take off but don't remember the
brands. Hard to believe someone on this site hasn't seen these before.

I believe they are recknagle pivot mounts has anyone ever heard of these?
