Help Identifying a Gunsmith

Howdy all. My Dad recently picked up a rifle he says is a great shooter...but he can't for the life of himself identify the smith. Barrel is marked 'MRB' and it's believed that, whoever he is, he's located on the west coast. Anybody have any ideas? Appreciate your time and help.

Is the barrel custom? There's a local guy (Portland) making barrels under the name "Benjamin" which would maybe explain the B in mrb.

I'd get ahold of Pete over at Rifles-N-Roses and see if he knows. I don't think that Pete comes on here.

Maybe someone else will be more helpful!

Just a thought. Match Rifle Barrel. Maybe from the barrel mfgr?
