Anybody shooting in the south east this weekend should be ready for some really hot weather. In Cordele forcast is 102 Friday and 103 Saturday. Be careful.

Forcast for today, was hot near 98. Guess what? It's raining. What ever you do, drink lots of fluids when outside this summer.

Our forcast was for rain today, which we got. Same as you, except our temperature was 60.

Our rain was scattered, probally just from the black cloud that follows me around. I saw some of that rain that closed down the Open, and was wishing for some like that, down here.

I shot here at my home range this afternoon, temp was 98.6 in the shade under the cover with a heat index of 107. Just think what Aug and Sept will be like?:eek:
 
Spring weather!

Boy is it nice UP here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We are finally getting some Spring Weather. It's gona be 70 degrees on Saturday here at Sault Ste. Marie at the north end of I-75.

We had our rimfire match last Sunday in 65 degree weather. Our Cowboy Shooters have a match this Saturday. They can pretend they are herding cows up the Chisholm Trail and across the Red River: In 70 degree Texas-March weather.

We are having hot weather and rain down here in south florida too. The afternoon thunderstorms are actually a return to normal weather patterns of the past. What is different is many of them are coming with 50 mph gusts. Bad enough when you are shooting but downright scary when you are fishing!
