Was I ever impressed with the all the new changes made to the procedures of running the 1000yd matches when I was in attendance for Matches 3,4,5,6 weekend.

Saturday Match 3 was completed and in the books before noon. Then a 45-minute lunch break and Match 4 completed by 3:30. Then the awards and announcements and everything 100% completed by 4pm.

Sunday same story, with a 45-minute lunch break, both Match's 5 & 6 and awards 100% completed by 3:30pm, and 36-shooters all heading for home.
It's a 5-hour drive back to ND for me and I was home before dark..... Wow !!!!

The scoring crew are doing a bang-up job getting the SO-roster and targets out fast.
The new Pit procedures really seemed to make the pit duty go smoother and easier.
Thanks to all you involved in running the matches, cooking us food, and providing us a great place to shoot !!!

The competition level is getting tougher each year, which I really like seeing.
Of the 36-shooters present were 3 National’s Champions (2009-Ed Nazy / 2010-Jim Bauer / 2011 Tod Solby). Besides all the other winners, it was something to see Al Forbes’ hot streak, and Team Hornady again showed how they are all fierce shooters to be reckoned with.

Hope to make it over and see you all again in August for the MN State Match's.

Sounds like things are going just fine, good luck to you, we need all the shooters we can get in this 1000 yard B/R game.

Donovan--I've shot with Ed Nazy and his buddy Gerry Nordman (Badlands) at the World Open @ Williamsport a few years back they are salt of the earth good people and I'm glad I did.
