I have used it in my factory Rem 700 chambered in 243, I am driving them near the top end loadings, they stabilized in mine and were one of the more accurate bullets I have used - 1/2 to 3/4 " from a free-floated, bedded action, factory Rem barrel.
I love the look of those bullets but the 10" twist in my 6x284 wouldn't stableize them. Target looked like a small buck shot pattern at 100yards. So I'll wait till I burn this BBL up and maybe get a 8" twist
I am shooting them in my 1:9 twist 6mm Rem Ackley. I am running them up at 3400 fps. Sub-inch at 300 yds is the norm for my gun. Absolutely the best groups I can great at that speed. The 105 Amax and 107 SMK don't shoot as well over 3200 fps in my gun. Cut the wind like a hot butter knife.......
What Tiny said... Same cal. same twist, I run around 3200fps for better groups. Also you can try the 88 gr S bullet - shoots slightly better groups for me than the 95 VLD when pushed in the 3400 fps range.
