Harrells Arbor Press

It's kind of a matter of preference. I set the seater die on the press just to one side of the ram and rotate the handle until it stops. Then adjust the height so that the ram is just a little lower than the top of the die assembly. This gives the most leverage for easy bullet seating. It is important that the press has a little rotation left when the die bottoms out. It will make sense once you try it.

thanks. my problem is that I cannot get the height adjustment to move at all. It came with no instructions and the height is set at a low point. How do I move it up?

OK...If you didn't figure it out already. There is a black handle on the left side of ram assy, that secures it to the post. Loosen it(Counter clock wise) and move ram assy up or down.
