H322 in a 30 BR

SHhhhhh.....down here in the deep south it is a well kept secret...36.5-37.0 grains behind a 112-118 grain bullet...
The new H322 Extreme won't produce the 2950+ fps needed when the temperature is below 70 degrees...but it really works well when the temps are 80-105 degrees...
I drill out the flash holes to .072" to reduce std deviation...

I've found it really works in the hot.
I don't drill flash holes.

does the more consistent standard deviation matter much for score at 100 and 200 yards? just curios, as i havent payed much attention to this for my short range rifles. thanks lee

Lee...in my mind reducing standard diviation will help remove vertical from your groups...at short range many shooters use tuners and seating depth to address vertical dispersion...so I guess it is an individual choice...but..smaller (.062) flash holes will not make the 30BR more accurate...in my opinion...
