Purchased a CMP rifle model 5200 H&R. Need to find a scope mount that will bolt on to existing iron sight mount. I do not wish to have the gun drilled. any one out there have a suggestion? T Powers

The best no D&T is the Viani

Get a Ken Viani, rock solid, excellent workmanship.
Go to rimfirecentral.com and look under Winchester you'll see that many people are happy with this mount.

Just to give you an option. A weaver #75 that is for a Peder Soli, Lightning will also fit, the radius matches, of course it will have to drilled & taped. BTW these rifles are super for what they cost.

Ken dose make a first class product, the pix on his page do not do it justice. He is great to do business with.

Another option is the BKL 612 base and their 254 rings:

I've use both and prefer the open top receiver the BKL 612 afords with the scope removed.

The BKL's allow some side to side movement. Had one on my old Model 54 Anschutz (late 50's) took it off and went back to iron sights.

Have used Viani mounts on two Winchster 52D's and two H&R M12's. Won't use anything else. Solid as a rock! This is one of my 52D's with a Viani mount.
