H-1000 in 6X284 anyone?

Hi gentlemen,

I've been playing with various powders in my 6X284 pushing the 107 SMK. I've tried RL-22, H-4831 and IMR 7828. The 7828 gives the best accuracy at 48.0 grains in Lapua cases. Has anyone discovered a 'dream come true' with H-1000?

Yes I tried a lot of different powders in my 6X284 and stayed with H-1000. Never shot real great at 100 -200 yards, but would shoot small groups at long range all day long. Good Luck
 
Thanks for that. May I ask what weight load you are using, and with what bullet? I've been told a 54.0 gr. load of H-1000 was a good load for the 107's, .010"-.020" into the lands.

What you have listed is very close. I used Berger 105 at 3030 fps, the jam is the same.
 
What town you from up there. I spent several years in Moses Lake back in the day.
 
I live in Pasco. The closest 1K range is in Benton City, shooting over wind-swept hills and valleys. A rough course.
