gunsmith needed

I am looking for a gunsmith to rebarrel and restock a 40X 22lr for me, its not a cmp gun. I know some guys that are great with centerfire but i wanted to know see who people recomend for rimfire. its not going to be a comp gun,just to shoot for fun. I would like to find someone that doesnt have a year wait also.

Just go to the match at Kettlefoot this weekend and talk to the local guys shooting the match. They'll clue you in.
 
John Higdon up in Dahlonega seems to be building some accurate rifles. I had Mark Penrod do a tough job on a 40X and I was super impressed by his workmanship. Google Penrod Precision. Heck, wait a minute. I have an old 40X Silhouette build from the 70's. PM me if interested :)

Higdon Precision

John has 4 rifles he built in the top 20 in the current ARA -A line, not bad at all ,that`s 20%! Two of them are 40X`s with Freddy Gaddis 40X is very very good! John`s # is 706-973-9160 .He is straight up GA 400 in Dahlonega. Tim Miller is in Duluth,he is good also !
