Guns for IR 50/50

I see all sorts of posts and pictures of big BR guns, but nothing on sporter class guns. What are guys using in the Sporter Class?
 
Here is a list of the sporters I am using:
Hall
Anschutz 54.18 MSR

The Anschutz was one of the guns I looked at, but it was way too heavy. How do you make the weight limit of 7.5 lbs. with scope? The Anschutz was 8 lbs. without scope and my scope and rings weigh 18 oz more.+

My stocks on my 54.18MSR weigh 20 oz. and I use Hall rings with a Leupold 6x42 scope. If you can find one of the plastic Rem 700 ADL trigger guards you can shave another oz or two.
The 3to 9 Leupold compact scopes would help even more. You might want to weigh the barrelled action without the stock to learn what you can handle on other accessories

I will weigh the barrelled action on the Anschutz if it's still for sale.

Where did you get a stock that light?

Don Stith makes some of the best lightweight stocks for IR and RBA sporters out there. I have several of his stocks, and he has made them for me as light as 18 ozs.. Check under stocks on the home page of this site. Don is an advertizer here. He's good guy but don't tell him I told you so:) When he tells you something, you can bank on it.
 
Thanks for the information. I guess that answers all my questions. Now all I have to do is find a good barrelled action and have him make me a stock.
