Gun collecting???

Very nice but I suspect that they are gold plated because you probably wouldn't want to fire a rifle with a receiver and barrel made from gold. Somebody noted that some of them are at the Benning Museum. Some really great stuff there.

There is NO self-respecting...........

home-invasion artist or carjacker, that wouldn't THANK you for shooting him with something so PRETTY. I wonder how many GENERALS took some of them home.....oh, NONE, I'm sure, all up n' up y'know. Like the Admiral who took a ton, vs. the enlisteds, doing the same thing, who got BCDs.:mad:

Ok, that MP5 is flat-out pretty. I thought that one was actually tasteful.

GROSS!

"gold alloy"

"value, priceless"

!!

un-freakin-believable....... a couple hundred dollars wasted in tasteless electroplating and folks are impressed! The guns aren't even prep'd for plating! Machine marks all over, hacked wood, as Jeff Foxworthy put it.... "you can't GIVE rednecks money!"

whewwww

Is it any wonder why Obama got in office? Just look at some of the replies to this post. I have long thought that we gun nuts have a segment of the population that like glow in the dark flash.

Many folks from the past think it is a genetic issue, and would use racial epitaphs to describe people that like this kind of firearm. Normally when you see the people that sport these glow in the dark firearms, don't use firearms at all. Except, they like something that attracts comment.

Wonder why no hats with tassels are shown?

Butch,
Aw, come on Butch, tell us how you really feel.
Getting the plain unvarnished truth out of Butch Lambert--Priceless !! :D

Best,
Dan Batko

"Where are we going and why am I in this basket?"

Hey bigal...... I just GOTTA' my frien', opportunity and hot iron you know...... your Freudian Slip is showing.

"Racial epitaphs"??????

The phrase you're searching for is "racial epithets" but yours is so much better!!!

Please take this as it's meant to be taken. After all, if we can't laugh at ourselves who else is there??? It's called self defecating humor.... :D:D

LOL

Al in Washington. I like some firearms that are engraved. Some of the classic firearms, look out of place without tasteful engraving. None of these apply for the category of classic or for that matter anything I would call classic. But my tastes are not the same as everyone else.

As to the fuzzy hats with dingle balls, this is used along with folks with strange methods of motivation, and economic opportunity, usually with strange vehicular transportation. Some folks attribute these folks as be hard core Obama supporters.

Not I. I feel the real "hard core" Obama supporters are the American haters first last and always. These are the folks that love the gold plated AK-47. Cause it was made in their favorite country. Not my first choice, but then again, neither is this type of firearm.:D

Yeah, I like some of that...............

self-defecating humor, but only if there's a shower close by in case of accident ;). If not, I'll pass. :rolleyes:rolleyes::D:D

I think, those were from one of Saddam's palace's.
There goes your "Oil for Food" money. Remember that stuff.....

Dang!

I thought the discussion was really going to be about gun collecting.

On topic: The images remind me of the home-made Arab muzzle-loaders from way back when, crude but covered with inlays and fancy tacks.

Shades of Geronimo!
