Grizzly G0709 Lathe

I am looking at purchasing a manual lathe and am considering the G0709, their isn't that much information available yet and I have a few questions.

What is the minimum length of barrel that this lathe can accommodate through the spindle?

It looks as though its only 90lbs heavier then the G4003G, how rigid is it in comparison?

I see that it has a coolant pump which is a plus. Besides the coolant pump and and larger swing/distance between centers what makes this lathe worth $1200 more then the G4003G?
 
The grizzly web site has the g07089 listed.
the spindel length is 19-15/16" with chuck installed.
