Hi All, I purchased A GreyBull Precision Stock awhile back well finally I am going to use it in a build. WOW what a POS. serious this stock is out of alignment everywhere. The Alum. bedding block is not in alignment with the rest of the stock both in the vertical top to bottom and from forend to butt. Check out attached pics. I worked with McMillan, Manners, HS Prec. and many factory stocks. I believe there is always some slight corrections that can be made easily during the bedding process. However I'm not sure I can correct this one to look and shoot right. Check out pics attached hopefully there good enough.

Synthetic stocks will walk with age particularly in an unused state. Even though they are supposedly stable when you get them there is still a bit of residual curing process occurring. I have seen quite a few synthetic stocks with problems some new some older over the years.

GB Stock

This is more than just walking a little, if is walking it has walked along way. Kinda embarrassed I did not spot it immediately should have set a barrel action in it when I first received it typically I do that right away. I only used a receiver. Just if I go at this there will be much milling to straighten it out.

Making GOOD (product support great)

OK :eek: they'er going to replace the stock immediately. Patience I must continue to develop, just get the build to this point and have to wait again to finish.

Good stuff on the replacement!

I can not remember a firearm related part that was not replaced with a smile even if I was the second owner, EXCEPT a new Remington rifle that was missing half the rifling in the barrel.

Best wishes
