Grande Prix Australia RBA first selection team trial for 2017 World Cup Slovenia Air

The first Trial for Air was Friday two cards each for LV and HV Air at the Sydney Olympic Shooting Centre.
The wind was light but swirling around between walls and overhead baffles.
A storm broke during the HV event and light small hail fell late in the first relay second card.
There was some excellent shooting under the conditions and Rebecca Richards had a very well deserved aggregate win.
I think all the Brisbane WC squad has shown improvement.
Thanks to Bill, Chris and the team for a very well run comp.

The first 6 places were shot with RAW rifles as well as 8th and 9th - 7th may have been too, but I don't know.

Thank you for the post and the great photos.
Looks like Rebecca didn't just winn the Agg., but showed everyone else how it's done!

Thanks Paul. As I wrote I think most seem to have gone up a notch. I was pleased with my second HV card 249 shot in the downpour and finished the last couple of shots in the hail. Was shooting Monsters at 16 fpe on that card ( thanks to Paul B for that tin). I did have a rain strike but it was a sighter; sent a well executed shot to the 5 ring at 5:00 .

Harry, can't agree more with your statement regarding the improvement or growth of AR BR in Australia - I think the growth of the sport will be similar to what happened in the US after the 2011 World Championship.

Since returning from Australia both my sons (13 & 16) started shooting with me - trying to qualify for the 2017 Slovenia team. We also had our first qualifying match for team selection on 7 November 2015 (30% of your ranking) and we'll have our National Championship on 21 March 2016 (50% of your ranking) - so shooting is great!
