OK, who out there owns a Gracey power neck turner? What can u tell me about them? I shoot IBS benchrest and want it for my ppc necks. They say u can turn 20 case necks a minute? Even if it does 3 to 5 with precise specs I want one. So help!!!

I watched Pails video but thats not a Gracey. Does anyone out there have or use a Gracey? That is what my real question is. Pauls looks like a very nice machine as well and I may consider one of those.

At one point I had a Gracey neck shaver... The cutter head has three independent blades that all need adjusted separately. Expect to waste a number of pieces of brass setting it up. Even then, as far as I can tell its not meant for the sort of precision neck turning you are looking for - more intended for HP shooters who might load 500-1000 cases for a season, and want to knock down the high spots on said cases, say 80% cleanup. It might work for 'roughing' cuts to knock off the bulk of the material if you are taking a *lot* off, but you'll still want to do a finish pass with a more conventional meat-powered neck turner.

Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on a Gracey

The Gracey case trimmer is...

The Gracey outside neck shaver is a different beast...

Husky, I have a Gracey, It has a 6.5 pilot so you would need to get a 6mm pilot.(There cheap) If you want the turner you can have it. I didn't have much luck with it.
I had it for sale cheap but no bites. If you want it, it's yours. just get your address to me and i'll send it .

Milanuk,

Boy, that is beautiful. Not the trimmer, but the wood under the wood that's under the trimming unit. Is that Western Red Cedar, and possibly aspen? What is it atteched to? I see you are in WA state, could it be the bottom or sides of a MacKenzie Drift Boat boat? Man that is a nice finish.
