133 Powder Comparison by Year

My N133 2004 lot seems slow or light. Has anyone else experienced the same? If so, how do other years compare?

on what you are looking for. In my limited testing and shooting experience, all lots of 133 will give about same velocity per weight. That said there are some years / lots that are denser than others so more weight will fit into the case. 01, 03, 05 were / are denser than 04. I can easily get 30 plus grains into case except with the 04 lot. The above are the years I have tested.

I agree with Jim

If you load by weight 133 will not vary much in velocity from lot to lot. However you could not get as much of 04 in the case. I liked the 04 because I shot the middle window and 29.0- 29.2 would fill my case up with a slow drop.The other years would only bring the powder up to the neck/sholder junction. Those that like it hot could not get enough in the case.
