The days of ordering gun parts and having them arrive in Australia in a week are over, thanks to the US government signing an agreement with the United Nations on arms non proliferation. It seems that your government no longer advocates private fire arm ownership and will hamper it anywhere, at home or abroad that it can. I hardly considered my new tang sight for my 44/40 a big threat but I still had to fill out the paper work and submit it to the US public service before Brownells could send my sight. I applaud Brownells for their tenacity in carrying through with my order as it would have been easier and possibly more profitable to simply stop exporting.
