Good source for 17" barrels?

I'm looking for a high grade 6mm, 10 twist barrel to finish at 15", .9" at the muzzle. Is there a source for shorter barrels like this where a guy can save some $$$?
 
OK, don't slap me but I've heard of guys buying 30"-34" blanks contoured weird (breech on both ends) and cutting them in half for two pistol barrels.

I said HEARD OF, I've never done this and don't know if it's a cheaper option or not.

Lilja happened to have a SS 12 twist on hand and will have it contoured and shipped out in a couple of weeks. Price was $190 which is exactly the savings I was hoping to see.
