I found a gentleman that has a 22BR reamer for sale and a 6BR throater. He is telling me that he can chamber the 22 and run the 6BR throater in and make it a 6BR. I may have not explained this correctly BUT would it be possible to use two seperate reamers and do a good job??

You might be able to cut the throat some how somewhere some day, as the song goes, but what about the case neck? Sounds like good rose garden fertiliser to me.

I have done many chambers that way. It works well if you are set up in the lathe to do it. The "throater" is actually a piloted neck and throat reamer.

Dennis, my throater does not do the neck. They must make them 2 different ways.

Like Butch, my throaters do not ream the neck, but they are available that way.
