Gold City AGBR Match Nov.

We had four shooters at Gold City's first AGBR match. The weather left a lot to be desired. Switchy gusty winds forecast up to 20mph. Spits of rain a few times during the day. We got started about 1:00 and finished about 3:30. Other than one target frame getting blown over and the newbie match director being a bit lost at times [ FM ??? whassat :) ] everything went well and all the shooters are ready to do it again next month if it's not too rough weather wise. Particular notice should be given to Jon Oswald's score with what is basically a squirrel hunting rig.

Had a good time Ray, good to see my former FT rifle is still shooting pretty darn good.

Them squirrels better look out this season!

You're the only one I saw shooting something that wouldn't pass for a squirrel rifle . LOL And all of you were shooting almost twice the power of my little 12fpe carbine. I think we all did pretty good for "rookies" in that wind. kirby:)

Good shooting by everyone! Glad you did well on your first match. The second one will go a lot smoother.
Our first shoot no one broke 700 for three targets and You guys had three targets over 240's. It won't be long untill you are all shooting in the high 240's.

Hey, just last week I zapped a 'ground squirrel' with my rifle :)
