i just picked up a sako sporter that really shoots, where can one find a "set" go-nogo gauges. i know lilja sells one that is .043 rim thickness but i was wondering if a set was avaliable in say .039 thru say .045?? in case my eley are not all .043

I bought a set of gauges from Joe Cowan a few years back from 42-46. Don't know if he still makes them or not, maybe someone else will know. In my opinion .043 is a very good headspace setting. On my rifles I set the headspace when installing a new barrel the with firing pin and spring assembly removed, to around 42.5 -.043 and they work well with Eley or Lapua ammo.
