glued in stock

I have a BR rifle with fiberglass stock that I would like to remove, I'm wondering how? and if the stock will be reuseable? I have no idea how it was glued or with what compounds. Please help!
 
I think if you place a hot iron on top of the action for 15 or 20 minutes with a small wedge pushed between the stock and the barrel it will loosen...
 
thanks Dennis! I also did a search on here and found a good post on this topic. I will give it a try and if I have problems I will come back at ya!
