Georgia State Match

Well it's all over now. Thanks to Leonard and Phil for running a well organized match and Southern cooking at it's finest. You will probably see low scores and this is not a reflection on the shooters. We shoot Saturday in Georgetown in the storm with winds over 40 miles and hour and driving rain No one needs to apologize for a 235. Leonard and his wife provided great food and hospitality. Montezume had the same heavy winds but no rain. No "honey hole " existed at either range. In the end people backed their rifkes to go home only to have them unpacked because they couldn't believe they took wood, The Montezuma range is rebuilt and looks great and Phil did a great job running his first state match. I don't think Jim Peeper got good mileage with his Prius going back home,

Jim and Leonard........................................... .....

Great shooting both days. Thanks to Tommy, Bob and everyone else for the help, it was sure great to see everyone again. I hope we can get better weather next year. Thanks again to Tommy for the Bar-B-Que surprise it was outstanding.....fresh armadillo's don't come along everyday!!! ;););) Next year we'll shoot for a Bigfoot roast rump.....depends if he's coming toward us or going away!!

Phil, Thannks to you and your crew for a good shoot. Next time, turn the fans off.
Good shooting Leonard. Good shooting Greg with the 249. I think that was the high targer for the weekend.
Jim
