What is the necessary range of adjustments for your tuner?
Or rather what would the length of 15/16 x28 be
at the muzzle?

Bob, you will never have to turn my tuner more than one revolution. You need no more than .625 inches of threads. Although I sometimes refer to the thread as 15/16 X 28 tpi, the major diameter is actually slightly smaller than that. Yesterday, I was reminded that 15/16 is .9375 and that's .0375 larger than what I specify as maximum major diameter for the threads on the barrel. The portion of the barrel to be threaded should be between .875 and .900. Sorry, I must be more careful.

Gene,

Didn't I recall you writing of a case where it was necessary to take (part of) a second full turn to final tune? I don't recall what the particulars were, though.
