Yesterday was typical for what we've had this year, switchy, gusting winds and never a time when two flags told the same story. But, we had a decent turnout and good shoot inspite of the wind and the 90+ heat.

Congrats are certainly in order to the winners! It was another tough day that really made you work for it on every shot. At one point there were chairs blowing over behind the firing line,and the heat was draining. Great shooting Rick Fox and John Thomas. You guys earned it. I am looking forward to a "normal" day as I don't think we've had one of those yet this year. It was again a well run match and a great time. It was a rough day to shoot in Tennessee. However, if you didn't like the conditions all you had to do was wait about 10 seconds because they would change. Thanks to Rick for the hard work and to Jeff for a great job hanging targets. The company was great especially good down at the low numbered benches where old Doc and Birddog were hanging out. It was fun shooting with you and listening to the stories. I got a real education.

Yeah George, we had a few pieces get away from us Saturday. Rick and David both shot well and deserved it this time. We'll have to work on that stuff though. Can't have them Tn boys taking our Ky. walnut(MDF as was pointed out to me already by Henry) It was a great time! We missed you and the others that didn't make it up.
