Gallatin TN UBR Match

We had a decent turnout for yesterday's UBR match at the Gallatin Gun Club. I knew that several of the regulars wouldn't be there, so I was pleasantly surprised at the 18 rifles that competed. We have had several new shooters this season competing in Factory class and it makes for a lot of fun.

We started the day with shootable winds out of the SW and the opening scores were pretty good. But as the day progressed and we moved to 200 yards, things got really interesting. The wind was gusting to well over 30 mph and switching constantly. Even for the Custom rifles scores of 60 were tough to get and the occasional X, was usually offset with a 9 or even an 8. But we finished the day before the rain set in and most everyone stayed dry. The complete scores will be up on Ultimatebenchrest.com in a few days. The next match in our area will be at the Two Brothers Range near Auburn, KY on June 15th. Come shoot with us and if you need directions, send me a PM or an email.
