We shot a 100/200 yards Ultimate Benchrest Match yesterday at the Gallatin Gun Club near the TVA Gallatin Steam Plant. The weather was cool with temps in the 40's and 50's and the winds switchy and gusting to near 20 mph. 26 shooters competed with 31 rifles and the conditions held the scores lower than normal. Chester Bradford took the Grand Agg win in Custom Class, John Kruzan in Factory Class, Bobby Cagle in Modified and Ron Jackson in Unlimited. No one shot a 500 point Grand Agg which shows how tough conditions were.
The next regional match is scheduled for next Saturday at the Two Brothers Rifle Range near Auburn KY.
