Ga. 1000 yd 4 match weekend

Due to a rain out, the Ga. 1000 Club will hold a 4 Match Weekend on Feb. 22 and Feb.23. We will shoot 2 matches on Sat. and 2 matches on Sun. The matches are held at Cool Acres Sporting Camp with directions on their website.

We all made it home. My tribe got home about 9:30 Central and Ole Mississippi made it home about 20 minutes before us. We all had a great time, especially Brady. The Range Crew and all of the shooters were overly accommodating. I appreciate all of the help and encouraging words that were spoken to Brady. He can shoot well but needs some more coaching on setting up and learning to track his scope. He was bad upset when he found out he had DQed on his LG target by shooting one round on his sighter target. But I think it helped him focus on the next relay.
Thanks especially to the Wilson’s for the hospitality over the weekend. I think the Georgia Dawg was as proud for Brady as we were.
We’ll see you boys at the Nats!

Thanks Barron, it was a great weekend! Congrat to Brady on winning the HG shoot off and at ONLY 9 years old!!! He took it to us old timers. Great job Brady! Hope to see a good crowd at the March 15 match.
