Front bag heavy or light sand

In anticipation of my new front rest, I ordered an Edgewood front bag.
It showed up this afternoon and I was wondering should it be filled with heavy sand or light sand ?

And how full should I make it?

I think the hvy sand flows better down the fill tube especially if you mix in a little powder. I also think it packs tighter to make a harder bag. Edgewood makes real nice bags in fact all my fronts and three rears are Edges. I prefer to make the front as tight as I can. Remember when you clamp the bag down to the rest it will tighten up because your, in essence squeezing the bag. You may have to make some adjustments with the amount of sand you put in but as a general rule I fill the bag just enough to be able to squeeze the ears in maybe an 1/8".
