Frog Level

Anyone know the results from Saturday's match at Frog Level Rimfire?

Being a Texas boy this could be the answer for the winter down time to get some matches in.

Darrel Barnes took the honors with a 2280 something agg. It was a pretty salty crew of 20+ shooters. Noah took 3rd and Fred shoot a 2500 to secure 2nd place. This was my first indoor and it was real interesting. The wind outside somehow manages to effect the bullet inside and you need to read conditions by the flop of the curtains and the sound.

Thanx for the info

I figured they'd get a pretty good turn out and glad they did. I noticed on the website that it was stated they were going to start with 8 benches and add 8 more in the future. Sounds like they could've used them.
Congrats to Darrel, Fred and Noah.

We don't have to worry about Fred Rost shooting anymore 2500's with that Suhl that Roger built for him because he lost it to me on a bet he made when we where driving home. He did sneak it out of the truck and leave before I could stop him, I should of guessed he was up to no good when he offered to help me unload. All kidding aside - again, great shooting Fred!

stolen gun

might have lost it on a bet, but got it back. found a pair of red converse tennis shoes on the parking lot and traded them even for that ol' suhl.

the match at frog level was great. eight more benches soon, good food, nice folks and 56 degrees. sure beats 17 and 4 to 7 inches of snow around here.

Al and crew did a great job. the 2500 was a "lightning strike", we'll see if it gets past the home office. if it doesn't, there will be some changes in the match results.

at my age, i was just happy to be there. thanks to all

Fred, regardless of what the home office thinks, the match results don't change....good shooten...

:) Great shooting Fred, 2500's are fun but if you and Joe are both wearing red shoes. How do we tell y'all apart?
