Friend Wilbur:

I had a couple of free momnets and I thought I add some extremely improtant information to my thread titled "Stopped Muzzle, Calfee"....extremely important information....

But I see you closed the thread?

Wilbur, this machine I use allows me to look only at the threads I wish....when I see a thread on your fine forum I may disagree with, I don't look at it.....

I know nothing about computers, but, do some of these folks have machines that force them to look at every Bill Calfee thread?

It looks like to me that if folks don't care for what Bill Calfee has to say, don't punch on the thread.......

My friend Wilbur, there are a whole bunch of folks, who read your fine forum, but never post here, that desire information about advancing accuracy.....I post on your fine forum for those folks.......not the small handful of folks who disrupt the proceedings....

Now my friends, we have accuracy to advance.....why don't you fine folks, who find fault with Bill Calfee's posts, just don't look......then you'll be happy and the rest of us can do some serious work advancing accuracy.....

Your friend, Bill Calfee

OK - go do it

Bill Calfee ain't the problem. Your posts are innocuous in themselves but the resulting foray of matching wits is intolerable..... and starting a new thread has not been successful.

Bill, with all due respect, you are posting on a Centerfire Benchrest Forum (Centerfire Benchrest, Competition and Accuracy Related topics) ... not a rim fire forum... and most of you postings seem to be between you and Lynn almost as personal messages... and as Wilbur stated they draw a "foray of matching wits"...

Perhaps if you chose the Rimfire Benchrest Forum (Rimfire Benchrest, Competition and Related Topics) ...you would have better results.

If you choose to go there, the link to the Rimfire Benchrest Forum is: http://www.benchrest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3

Word Innocuous

Main Entry: in·noc·u·ous
Pronunciation: \i-ˈnä-kyə-wəs\
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin innocuus, from in- + nocēre
Date: 1598
1 : producing no injury : harmless
2 : not likely to give offense or to arouse strong feelings or hostility : inoffensive, insipid
— in·noc·u·ous·ly adverb
— in·noc·u·ous·ness noun

Wilbur is there a way you can delete just the terrible posts mine included or the troublesome ones?
I think with an average thread view of 10,000 that 99.9% of the people who visit here want to see Bill's posts. The 0.1% that is posting all of the negative stuff on every thread he starts is driving people away and is shedding a bad light on the sport of benchrest.
I know people have there doubts about Bill and think we are all gullible idiots for reading his posts but you can't save everybody and it is our own money we are wasting so in a nut shell we don't want to be saved atleast from Bill Calfee.
I know some consider me a troublemaker for asking posters to be polite and respectful. If you delete all of the negative posts I won't post on the centerfire at all and that is unconditional.
Lynn

Lynn,
You are asking Wilbur to spend hours reading threads, deciding what is negative and then editing...

Lynn

I've done a little "tuning" here and there in some threads and hope that no one feels picked on. Every post has been reasonable/understandable based on those that precede. A little stick here, a little nick there and before you know it we're bleeding to death.

Two things:
This wouldn't be any fun at all if we all agreed.
I appreciate every contribution to these forums.

Perhaps a poor choice....

Dennis, your post is disharmonious and shows nothing but disrespect. The poor guy can't even come to the board and ask for a little placidity without some tomfool posting a bunch of nonsense.

It's petty drivel like this that keeps the sport from drawing new attractors.

It's a real shame.

Contributions Applicable To Centerfire Helpful

I Personally Appreciate Any Information that I may be able to apply to improving my centerfire accuracy. So I Logically feel the Calfee information falls Into this category, and consider his efforts to be positive. Thank You: Larry Kramer, Victoria, Tx.:)

Thin Skin?

I do shoot & load at the range & most of the FUN & LEARNING is in the loading shed. The tame little digs on here are nothing. What did your buddies say to you last time one popped out 3/4",gee buddy so sad to see your misfortune?I would expect more like wow HA HA what were you thinking, looking at, playing with. All the niggling & stirring is part of learning, there is no hate there just camaraderie between serious competitors & buddies.Once you've had that they tell what you did wrong in their opinion. But if you can't give & take humor don't load near me.I want to win but I love a giggle even at my own expense.
Chill out,good shooting Jim

Jim and Bryce, I really enjoy your posts. A lot of the guys don't understand Aussie humor. We're not as stiff as the Brits, but some have very thin skin.
