Friend Lynn:

I do not know you, nor you me. I have been following your posts about "barrel tuners" on the centerfire forum.

It is obvious that you, (as well as several other folks) want to develop barrel tuners to their fullest potential, no matter what direction that takes.

I would like for you to visit my web site http://billcalfee.org

Out of respect for you, and your efforts, I have posted something. Click on Potpourri. The title is "WHAT'S IN A NAME"

I love accuracy, no matter if it's rimfire or centerfre or muzzleloading or bow and arrow.

Lynn, there is much work to do. My mailing address is:

If you do not wish to post your mailing address on this forum, write me with it......I have some thoughts on centerfire tuner development I wish to express to you.

Lastly. I do not argue with folks on this fine forum, nor demean anyone, that is simply not in my nature. Folks know they can make comments about me and I will not respond, whcih makes some folks feel they have free license to do so. I pay no attention to those folks, although, I love every one of them.

When you have time, please read my web site comments.....we'll go from there..

Your friend, Bill Calfee

Bill,

Don't misunderstand, I am not going to kiss your shoes, however, that may be the best thing you have written in some time.

It is clear and right to the point. Nothing between the lines. Nothing to think about or figure out. Your passion is why you are cut above. It may also be why you cannot see when you are wrong. On this one, I think you are absolutely right but there have been times.....

Lynn , Would it be OK to email you with regard to information and questions about tensioned barrels?

Friend Lynn:

I enjoyed your above post about your "muzzle device"......excellent.

I'm in the process of composing a letter to you on this subject.

I don't believe any tensioned barrel guns have ever made it into the 3 inch club but maybe somebody here knows if that is true or not. Lynn
If you mean 10-shot groups, it would have to be Jeff Rogers, or maybe Charles Bailey -- not Joel or me.

But for us, the point of tensioned barrels isn't whether or not they can shoot one 3-inch group, but how many groups they shoot over 6 inches. the answer is -- not many.
