Just came from the range testing SPEC 52...........

Danny, I have not talked to you about this.........what I'm about to ask you on this "public" forum........

Background:

I love the 52 Winchester....but, at the last ARA Nationals, outdoor, and the last ARA Nationals, Indoor, not one single 52 Winchester actioned rifle competed....

I'm a dumb old guy......I would love to see a 52 Winchester actioned, rimfire benchrest rifle win a "Big Time" match....

Friend Danny: Would you consider shooting my little SPEC 52 at the next PSL match?

Danny, I fully understand that you might not be able to do this.....

Finally, If I've put you on a spot, on this public forum, without asking you first, I understand....and if you don't responed to this, I'll know you can't do it........

Hey Bill:

There will be at least one Win. 52-C shooting at the next ARA Nationals.. I'm going to try and get active in ARA again, even if it means having to travel to Alabama and NW Florida to shoot in any matches, and I will be shooting that 52-C that you slugged the barrel on, at the 2009 ARA Nationals.. Went out today and shot two practice targets, one was a 2250 and the other was a 2100, so that the old 52-C still shoots..

Not just yes, but HELL YES. I would love to shoot spec 52. The rent on the Duke of Earl is killing me.

I have shot some PSL targets tonight...with SPEC 52...

Mike Sherrill, "Big Dog" has agreed to carry SPEC 52 to you at the next PSL match..........

Friend Danny: I shot SPEC 52 tonight....I was kinda pleased.....I am going to shoot him a couple more times........if I think you could be competitive with him, I will let Mike Sherrill carry him to you at the next PSL match...

If I don't think he would do your fine shooting justice, I will not send him..
