Forster vs Clymer vs PTG headspace guages

The Forster headspace guages are 30% less expensive than PTG or Clymer. $17 vs $25. I am buying several guages so it adds up.

I will use the guages to headspace Savage actions.

Is there a reason to not go with the Forster guages? Don't want to spend the money twice.

Thanks

A steel headspace gauge is supposed to be made to an exact tolerance. I have several Forester gauges and I am happy with them... I only buy go gauges as I do much more barreling than checking headspace...

PT&G, Clymer, Manson, JGS, home made etc...

Properly ground steel gauges all willl do the job. I must have 5 different makes
in my tool box. I would suggest however thet you use the same makers go and no go gauge when chambering when measuring the same chamber.
