Does anyone know a good way to form lapua .243 brass into CHeetah brass. Im thinking or running it into the Cheetah fl die, expanding the neck, turning the necks about 10 thou, FL size again and load into the lands to fireform. Is that in line or is there a better way???

Don't make it more complicated than it is. Treat it exactly like you would treat an Ackley cartridge. Run it into the CHeetah FL die, without an expander, until you get a nice crush fit. Then expand the neck. If it goes in the chamber OK, then simply load and fire-form. If it doesn't chamber after neck expanding, then turn the neck to get the clearance you want but only to the point where you get that nice crush fit again. Then fire-form.

My point is - don't turn the neck just because. Do it only if necessary. And if you get a crush fit without a bullet there's no need to seat on a jam when fire-forming. Fire-forming on a crush is ALWAYS better than fire-forming on a jam.

Yes. It's the way I make any wildcat case that requires moving the shoulder, whether it's a 6PPC or a 30 Gibbs, or anything else.
