I'm wanting to learn to reload for my .223 and can't seem to find anywhere to order a Forester Coax press anyone know of a place that has them in stock? Thanks! :)

You can buy them directly from Forester I believe... probably cheaper if you can find a dealer... a great press by the way. I have had mine since the early 70's.

Midway USA, Natcheez, Midsouth. All online and should have them in stock.

I ordered from Midway. I waited about a month for delivery.

I just purchased one the other day from sinclair $259 I think

I think Midway has them for a little over $200. I use Lyman lock rings with mine instead of the Forster ones, and the Forster .223 dies are very good as well

They're worth the wait. I'd never use a different press again. Being short term out of supply should tell you something. Suggestion: Use their locking rings. They fit perfect.

Midway, $227, product number, 265719. However out of stock, but backorder welcome. Forester site: $396. Bought mine at Midway for $247. They were out of stock as well, but I backordered and received it two weeks later. It's worth waiting for. Good luck.

Well, I found the Forster Coax press at Cabella's and ordered one quickly. Do I also need to order the S-jaws to go with it and I plan to order the latest Lyman reloading book also, so I can get a better grasp on things. Thanks!

The jaws that come with it will suffice for 90 percent of reloading requirements. You don't need the S-Jaws for your .223.

Good luck...and enjoy. It's a very good press.

Thanks Virg! that helps alot. I plan to read the reloading book when I get it but, I'm just trying to get as much as I can all on the same order. I also, have a hand primer which I assume I will need also in my new cart. :)

I do find that the primer on the Forester is a bit awkward to use. I've forgone that and use the RCBS automatic hand primer with the Universal cartridge holder which functions a lot like the brass holder on your new press. It fits most brass and the cost is about $46 bucks. Very handy.

I'm not positive but I think that's the same primer I have on order. I plan to get my powder and primers locally to save the Haz-mat charge. what should I use for powder the Hodgdon Varget for the .223 rem? Thanks!

When I shot the 223 Remington I got excellent results with Varget, 223 Lapua brass, CCI BR4 primers, and Ronnie Cheek's custom made bullets.
