We had a nice little gathering here at my place to shoot, eat, and enjoy
each other's company on Fodder's Day. We did airgun BR using the World's target
at 25M, just to see what we could see, an do what we could do

After the match, we practiced a little, but the winds were SO difficult I'm
not so sure how much was gained by it. To me the winds were about the worst
I had ever shot in near the end ... Not really powerful but the
constant switching every few seconds. I rarely had time to look from a
flags to refocus on the sight picture before the flags had whipped to a new
position!

I was shooting in the sub-12fpe class, wile the other four guys were all
using the sub-20fpe rigs, but surprisingly, I stood up to em ok.

Results, HV class:

Shooter card1 card2 card3 total

Roger Lovett 243/5x 245/5x 240/3x 728/13x

Tim McMurray 243/6x 236/6x 244/14x 723/26x

Matt Kellerman 238/4x 239/6x 236/8x 713/18x

Tim Donaldson 196/1x 220/6x 208/1x 624/8x

Result, LV class

Larry Durham 240/3x 241/3x 242/4x 723/10x

After shooting, we had a nice little grilled lunch and extended airgun bs
session, as is the usual for us.

Good shooting in the switching winds guys...

I've some similar conditions here to practice in, but not as strong as I've seen at your place. Some high pressure finally settled in, here yesterday morning, in southern Oregon, and I got to test some pellets in the .22 stainless barrel rig and the best three cards of the day, while the winds were lighter were, 248 -12X, 245 -13X and 245 -7X = 738 -32 Xs.. when the winds picked later the best I could do was 728 -29X.. the gun can shoot, I just have to get better at reading the changing winds:)

Missed shooting with ya.. I shot alone here, Mark and Bob had family stuff... Oh got a great "drummers throne" for fathers day.. wow is it great!
