Many times it is supersonic ,2nd shot usually not if you are using Eley or Lapua !

Quite normal. Also normal for first shot from a dirty cold bore.
If you're ever lucky enough to own a rifle that will put 2nd and subsequent shots into the same POI as your first shot, NEVER allow it to get away... assuming it's accurate. I have a BRNO #1 rifle like that and it will be mine until I leave this earth.
