I just wanted to say what an awesome time I have had this year competing in short range group for the first time and to thank all the guys I've met this year.
It is something I've always wanted to do but just never got to the place in life to be able to.
I was surprised at how much everyone was willing to help a new guy. If you all weren't willing to help us new guys along
we would be so over whelmed we would never make it back to match number 2

Tim, as a "New Guy" myself you are absolutely correct. Without the "Senior Guys" helping us newbies along we would struggle even more than I do now. In my case I was luck enough to get a good used rifle and equipment to bait me into this great sport.
In this first year I have been upgrading some of my equipment and stocking some good components. The few matches I attended, some went well, others not so good. At times wondering what the heck am I doing here, I can't compete with these guys. Then, you get luck and shoot a little hole. Thanks Seniors for all the help! If you see us Newbies looking like we're lost, don't hold back any small bit of information that could be of value. Like the song, I have along way to go and short time to get there.
