Hi All,
On behalf of Dana Raven (Match Director, 734-748-5394) and the entire Western Wayne County Conservation Association “Precision Shooters”, I would like to welcome you to the 2019 NBRSA Group Match Schedule.

Our first match of the season, scheduled on April 13-14, 2019 is the Annual Spring Tune-up (100 & 200 yard LV/HV). After enduring a cold winter season, most of us are looking forward to this match which normally brings many new shooters from the Midwest and Canada. The range will be open for practice on Friday April 12, at 10:00 am and will be closed for flag setting at 5:45 pm. The Match Fee is $100. Similar to previous years, there will also be available for purchase a “cook your own steak dinner with all the fixings” on Saturday.

Please send a note (or call) Dana Raven (dana_raven@yahoo.com) if you plan to attend so he can make the proper arrangements for the lunch services.

Other Information:

Practice is only available on Friday between 10:00 am – 5:45 pm. The Club does not allow evening practice on Saturday.
Start times are Saturday 9:00 am and on Sunday at 10:00 am.
Saturday: LV-100 is shot in the morning, and is followed by HV-100 (on the same bench).
Upon completion of Saturdays matches, target frames are moved to 200 yards and competitors can reset their flags.
Sunday: HV-200 is shot in the morning and is followed by LV-200.
Camping sites with electricity are available (contact Dana for information). Water is available in the club house.
The Match is limited to 54 competitors. Pre-registration and/or notification will be appreciated.

In addition to the Spring Tune-up match, WWCCA will host two additional group matches in 2019.
June 8-9: 3rd Annual Lowell Hottenstein Memorial match. This will be a money shoot with a Cash Option of $50. A pig roast dinner on Saturday will be available.
Sept. 14-15: Fall Classic Match. Western beef dinner on Saturday will be available.

See you soon,

Sorry to hear WD.

We had a great turnout, despite the crappy weather today.

I hope you’re able to make the next one. Wonderful place to shoot a match.

Any results? How many shooters? I can remember a time back in the early 2000's when you had to preregister in order to shoot the Spring Warmup at WWCCA.

We had 26 on Saturday but lost a few on Sunday, probably due to the weather. I have the results but if someone plans on doing a match report I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

We had several canadian shooters, including I believe 3 Canadian WBC team members and a couple US WBC team members... all the way down to a couple new shooters like myself and a guy shooting in his very first NBRSA match. It was fun seeing his progress from the first group on Saturday to his last group on Sunday. I think he even managed to shoot the smallest group on the second to last match of the day.

I had a good time despite the weather. The guys and gals at the WWCCA run a great match!

Thanks for the info Brian, generally speaking posting the results is not stepping on sensitive toes. If it isn't posted by now it won't get posted.
