Historic Camp White rifle range hosted its 1st ever Western Region 600 yard NBRSA competition this past Sunday. Camp White rifle range is located in White City, just north of Medford Oregon. The range was established in 1942 during World War II. The range has only recently been opened to the public and is managed by Rogue Valley Sports Shooters Association (RVSSA).
Additional competition is scheduled for one day in November and one day in December. Please check the RVSSA website for those dates (rvssa.org).
BTW it appears that a new world record was set during this past Sunday's match, but is pending over official verification. We had a total of 13 shooters and with this new range becoming available we hope to see many more. Some pictures attached.
