After playing with sporters in BR for a bit, my first real rimfire BR is finaly here. It is a model 54 Anschutz action, Lilja 16" twist,Calfee type reamer hoehn tuner with an extra weight, McMillan Edge stock, 36x leupold.
I will have to start playing with ammo to see what it likes.
What is the usual proceedure, start without tuner, then see what ammo it likes first, then fit a tuner and see how far the impact drops to determine if a tuner weight is needed, then play with tuner settings? Is this about right?
