Hi Guys, Have any of you guys adjusted the foot ponds to 12- fb from the factory 14.4fb. if so could you please give me detailed instructions to do so for RBA -12fb competition. regards Phill
 
Since you have the field target version, then turning in the screw behind the hammer spring will increase the pre-load on the spring and hopefully increase the power. The other option is to replace the hammer spring with a stronger one.

Phill wants to decrease the power is that possible on the P70, he asked me as he is coming to his first LV Air Comp on Saturday but i have no idea ?
 
Decreasing the power is the reverse, loosen the screw behind the hammer spring to decrease the pre-load. Start with 1/4 to 1/2 revolution turns as the power can fall off quickly, depending on pellet and barrel combination.
 
By doing that its more liable to temp fluctuations, every spring has its own min and max efficiency.
A drop of 2.4+ ft/lb is too much to rely on hammer tension alone, drop the reg pressure.

P70FT hammer and spring is good to see well over 900ft/sec with 10.6gr, you will be wanting less than 790ft/sec with 8.4gr.
15J spacer? Or a larger one? 3/8" is about max length without replacing cocking linkage.

Disconnect cocking link enabling access to brass slots on underside of reg, Keep pressure on and anti clockwise to decrease pressure. Initially try 1/8 of a rev but remember it will still have previous regulated pressure behind, fire one or two off.

Just sell us your stock P70FT and purchase a stock 12 fpe of your choice...
