Feinwerkbau 124 Sport problem

Bryan Armatys
I have a FWB 124 Sport that I bought in 1975. It has been unused for the past 5 or 6 years, stored in a gunrack muzzle up.
I pulled it out today to test a chronograph in the back yard and it won't even push a pellet out the barrel!
What do I need to do? I did put a couple of drops of gun oil and a drop of bore cleaner in the port and cocked and uncocked the action several times, but still no poop.
Thanks
Bryan

Its most likely your piston seal has deterioted. Do NOT shoot it again until its fixed, as this can badly damage the piston, and perhaps the cocking shoe and cylinder end. do NOT use an original FWB spare part here, as they are ALL old and won't last .... get a freshly made one.

Jim Macarri has new seals for these guns, and may help you get that gun going again.

This is one of the few springers I donn't recommennd novices try to repair themselves, due to the extreme preload of the spring, and the need of special tooling to back up the cylinder block.
