You don't even want to fool with that ammo.
The low number lots were great then rig amortise set in around 1200
or so . it started getting sosso at $10 a box. that was a lot of money at the time. Federal claimed they lost money on every box' I doubt it at those prices. The 500 550 and other early lots were superb.
Buying it is chancy even with a good lot. You have to consider how it was stored and the age. The lube may dry up etc.
think about some of the newer ammos. skjg wolf eley lapua even some eley primed aguila isn't bad in some lots.

I've seen it go for $100.00 a brick and more. I have some that I'd have to think about to take $100.00 a brick for.

I think you buried Fed UM1 several years too soon
. 1287 and 1288 was the best UM1 ever. I just bought some 1000B in lot 19xx and my Suhl loves it. On the other side of the coin my UM1B lot 2265 is not very competitive in that gun.Just like some Eley and some Lapua.
